YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO — The Anthony Spano Foundation is proud to announce that applications are now open for its School Supplies Fund. Through this program, the Foundation will be giving away school supplies to schools and students throughout Mahoning County, Ohio — completely free of charge — ahead of the 2026–2027 school year.
Mahoning County school districts are encouraged to apply now. The application window is open for approximately 30 days, after which a review committee will select recipients and arrange distribution of supplies in August/September 2026.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
The School Supplies Fund is open exclusively to K-12 schools districts located within Mahoning County, Ohio. Schools outside of Mahoning County are not eligible for this round of grants.
What Supplies Are Available?
The School Supplies Fund provides a variety of items to support students and teachers. All supplies are provided completely free of charge to recipient schools. This project was made possible through the generous support of the Mahoning County Commissioners.

⏰ The application window is open for approximately 30 days. Applications received after the deadline will not be accepted. The deadline is June 25, 2026.
What Happens After You Apply?
Following the application period, a committee will review all submissions. Selected schools will be notified of their award. School supplies will be distributed to selected schools in August/September 2026, ahead of the start of the school year.
