The Spano Family Charitable Foundation donated 4 acre tract, valued at $1.2 million, the largest donation to the Cerebral Palsy Association of New Jersey, also known as Advancing Opportunities. The property was developed into 12 approved lots, of which 2 will be used to house people with disabilities and the remaining 10 lots sold to pay for the 2 group homes. After the project is complete, services will be provided to support individuals with disabilities to live relatively independently, which without the right housing opportunities would not be possible.
